Convent of the Immaculate Conception, St Bonaventure

An architecturally strong and sober 17th century building containing interesting paintings and frescos depicting the Chapels of San Pascual and San Fransisco. The convent also shows the use of space, human iconography and other technical details of natural and Italian influences. We can also see the work of Albert Bartholome – an image of the Immaculate, the beautiful image of Jesus Nazareno and the tall carving of Esteve Bonet of which only two other copies were made and placed in other temples.
